SASSA Social Grant Eligibility

• No Other Social Grants: You can not receive any other social grants from the government.

• Income Flexibility: Applicants can qualify for the grant even if they have an income of more than R350 per month.
• Application Process: No longer required to reapply every 3 months.
• Appeal Process: If an application is unsuccessful, the applicant must submit an appeal for each month they were declined. Appeals are now lodged directly with an appeals tribunal, not with SASSA.
